Druid
The Druid is the most universal class in the game. They are able to fulfill many types of roles within a group dynamic. They also are a diversified playing style. They are able to heal, deal dps in both ranged and tank positions due to the overall ability to shapeshift. While leveling the druid they are able to heal and deal dps in their caster form. However, as they level and choose a specific purpose they are able to shapeshift into different forms to enhance these specs. A healer will take on the Tree of Life form which looks like a tree and allows the Druid to heal with less mana cost and give group members a passive healing buff. In Moonkin form the Druid is able to provide high dps and has increased armor, this form also provides group members with a critical spell aura.
The Druid further separates into two different Feral forms. One of these forms is bear form which makes the Druid a powerful tank. The increased armor protection, health and aggro abilities permits the Druid to best hold the mobs while the group is killing the targets. The second feral form is pure dps in melee combat as a cat. The druid is also able to perform a battle resurrection sometimes saving an entire a group from certain doom by raising an instrumental class in the heat of combat. In addition to these shape shifting forms for combat the Druid is also capable of transforming into a bird form for flight. Another locomotion form is aquatic allowing the Druid to gain increased swim speed and underwater breathing the appearance is that of a seal. The druid is also a wonderful addition to groups because they are able to root mobs in place and maintain crowd control. They make a good class to solo level due to their flexibility.
Druid is the most race restrictive class. On the Alliance side only Nightelf and Worgen can roll a druid class while the Horde races include Tauren and Troll. The downside to this class is the limited armor of only leather. It is difficult for druid to be excellent at any singular focus. The ability to travel faster is helpful when traveling through Azeroth and its many neighboring lands. Another difficulty to overcome when playing the druid is shape shifting to perform different tasks during a battle. This process can be time consuming and difficult to achieve. The druid unlike other classes is a bit more difficult to master.
